NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — New Haven is set to activate newly installed red light and speed safety cameras, also known as automated traffic enforcement safety devices (ATESD), the mayor’s office announced Wednesday.

Mayor Justin Elicker announced that these automated safety devices will activate at seven locations beginning on Sept. 15. During the first 30 days, violation warning notices will be sent to vehicle owners.
